Meaning: Again, drunk

Meaning: Your chat, banter, fun. For example if it’s an average joke. You say to your pal, “that’s pish patter!”

Meaning: Bold, cheeky!

Blether

Meaning: Chatterbox

Meaning: Headbutt

Clatty

Meaning: Disgusting, unclean and boggin’

Meaning: Also means drunk…

Taps Aff

Meaning: A very rare occasion in Glasgow when temperatures increase and many people remove some of their clothing to enjoy the sunshine 🙂 Also more recently, a reference to a celebration in the moment.

Hoachin’

Meaning: Busy, overcrowded. Can also apply to desperation for a certain something or somewan 😉

Loupin’

Meaning: Throbbing, painful, empasis on the severity of what’s going on. For example, ma heed’s loupin’!

Scunnered’

Meaning: 

To feel disgust or strong dislike, world weary, down-trodden or have sickened your self with something. Over eating / drinking for example.
