GlasgowLiving has just been announced as the official partner of Freshers’ Festival 2017! We know we’re excited for the biggest event on the student calendar… are you?

Every September, Glasgow changes. The music gets louder, the streets that little bit busier and the sense of anticipation ramps up a little. The reason? Fresher’s Week, of course!

Glasgow is a city for everyone, and students love it for that very reason. The famous warmth of the Glaswegian is one of those things that everyone who chooses to be a student here will experience right from the beginning. The sense of humour is wry, the rain never halts a party and the people you meet outside Sub Club at 2am occasionally become genuine lifelong pals.

Students come from all over the world, attracted by the prestige of Glasgow Uni, the glittering reputation of the Art School, the cutting edge distinction of Strathclyde, the unique courses offered by GCU, the colleges and of course, the magnificence of the Conservatoire.

It’s your job to study hard when the time merits it. And it’s our job, as the Official Partner of Freshers Festival 17, to welcome you to the city, to keep you informed and to ensure you always know where the coolest events are, from big parties to quirky art festivals and everything in between. We are Fresher’s Festival x GlasgowLiving and you are in for a good time.
