Glasgow's Most Notorious Bus Lanes, 11 To Avoid
We are almost positive you’ll agree with this following statement Glasgow.
Bus and taxi lanes and the resulting fines you receive are the bane of every motorists day.
Upon commencing a little research we discovered that last year in Scotland, fines for motorists who drove through bus lanes totalled more than £10 million pounds. In Glasgow this year, between January and March drivers have been forced to pay out more than £1.2 million pounds alone.
This year it hasn’t been confirmed yet but statistics stated last year but the bus lane in Nelson Mandela Place fined 50,000 drivers, ten times the amount of drivers the second most prolific bus lane in Victoria Road issued.
Many drivers have complained that road signs alerting them to the whereabouts of the bus lanes are inadequate especially during bad weather, (of which Glasgow suffers regularly.)
