If you’re looking to start your Christmas shopping, and looking for some Glaswegian gifts, check out LD. A Glasgow based company founded by Lisa Donati “a born and bred Glaswegian wi a passion for the patter”. If you’re after a “Fanny Baws” or “Yer Da Teaches Zumba” mug this is the place for you! On Thursday, get down to Stupart’s for a glass of Buckfast Fizz and an evening of “pure Weegie merriment wi hunners of Scottish gifts” which are only available at this event. Bassa-Beat Workshop at The Rum Shack

If the kids are wanting to try something different or learn an instrument, check out the Bassa-Beat Workshops at The Rum Shack this Sunday. Suitable for kids of all ages, they will learn activities on musical performance, group singing and rhythm games. If you’ve ever been interested in learning flying trapeze classes, this is for you! Every Thursday and Saturday classes are held at The Briggait and are suitable for beginners. Glasgow Green Fireworks

Saturday 5th November, 5pm, Glasgow Green
Remember, remember the 5th of November! The annual Bonfire Night celebration at Glasgow Green is the biggest organised display in Scotland. The pre-show is at 6:30pm and the fireworks will start at 7:30pm. There will be merchandise and food stalls as well as the funfair. For more information, click here.
