The Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival 2015
Have you ever heard the Electric Frog and Pressure roar? In less than two weeks you’ll be able to hear the noise of 8000 fans roar in unison.
The Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival 2015 promises to be the best edition of the fledgling festival so far.
Ibiza legend, Sven Vath’s Cocoon hosts two stages at this years festival. Alongside Sven, you can expect to dance along to heroes such as Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos. Home favourites Slam and Optimo will also be tearing the festival apart.
For two days at the tail end of May, 8000 festival goers and the hottest talent in the DJ industry will transform Glasgow into a festival fitting of anything available in Ibiza this year.
Adding to the atmosphere, this year’s festival has been moved to the Friday and Saturday, giving everybody who graces both days plus afterparties, a complete day to recover. (To be honest we’d probably take the Monday off as well.)
The Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival is a completely unique experience in comparison with any other festival in Britain, and dare we say Europe. Where else can you find yourself lost in the music surrounded by the spectacular sight of the Riverside Museum at sunset, on the River Clyde?
In its third year since conception the Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival has created and surpassed every expectation, and 2015’s is set to go even further.
No mud, no lengthy trek into the middle of nowhere and no need to camp. Means that when the festival closes at 11pm you can either head home and prepare for the following day’s escapades or carry on to one of the famous afterparties for an even livelier atmosphere.
Three stages 4pm-11pm opening and closing both days, will ensure you the chance to catch all your favourite DJ’s appearing at the festival. (How frustrating is it at festivals if you desperately want to see two of the lineup but they happen to be appearing at the same time and their stages are miles apart.)
For fifteen years Sven Vath’s Cocoon nights has helped shape the musical landscape in Ibiza and in the process, created one of the most well respected labels in the dance music industry.
Guaranteeing an event like no other. Sven Vath is almost guaranteed to create history at the festival, now in its third year.
