Choose from a their’ Mini-Nachos, Macaroni Burger Basket, Max’s Hand-Made Beef Burger from the Lunch Menu or pick from a choice of wraps including Southern Fried Chicken. If it’s cheap scran under a five you’re after, Bloc is the place for you. There are different deals on every weekday, such as: Bloc Dog Fridays for £4, Burger Tuesdays for £3 or Steak Wednesdays, a 6oz Sirloin steak served with chips and peppercorn sauce for £5. See the full menu here.

Think lunch for a fiver in the Merchant City is impossible? Think again! Metropolitan have a £5 Plates Menu, running Monday-Friday from 12pm-5pm. Choose from a Classic or other variations on the norm, and choose to have it served with either Soup of the Day or Skinny Fries & House Slaw. For those who are looking for a traditional ‘piece’ for their lunch, then is the place for you. Choose from a selection of fillings – our personal Finnieston-branch favourites are Beef Classic, Chicken Ole, Smackdown or Falafel then choose what kind of bread. Sit in prices are £4.95.
