Winter is coming if you haven’t already gathered, and with it, a snowstorm of jolly offers and Christmas deals at Glasgow’s finest eateries. But what if you simply can’t eat at every one of them before the year is out? Well, we’ve gone ahead and done the legwork for you by scouring the city’s restaurants and clearing plates left, right and centre (we know, it’s an awful job), to find and curate the ultimate list of Glasgow’s best festive feasts…

La Lanterna Hope Street (35 Hope Street) & West End (447 Great Western Road)

The cosy and intimate La Lanterna Hope Street

With the newly opened West End restaurant fresh from winning its ‘Best Newcomer‘ award, and the long-established City Centre restaurant boasting ‘Best Restaurant’ awards four consecutive years in a row, it’ll come as no surprise that La Lanterna dishes up Christmas to absolute precision. And if you want to go west, you can similarly choose from an alternative Early or Evening menu, selecting from authentic Italian fare from risottos to ravioli, tiramisu to turkey (yes, with all the trimmings!).

Our only word of warning? They are long accustomed to becoming fully booked by the time Christmas rolls around, so advance booking is essential. You can do so online at either the West End or City Centre restaurant.
