Music Superstars AWOLNATION are set to appear in Glasgow’s Garage nightclub this coming Wednesday. “AWOLNATION where do I know them from?” I hear you ask.

Arguably most famous from their massive hit single “Sail” (trust us you’ll know it), it went six times platinum in the States, selling 5 and a half million copies, and their debut album “Megalithic Symphony” was certified Gold.

In 2014 it was announced AWOLNATION would feature on the soundtrack for the highly anticipated movie adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey, following the release of the film, their single “I’m On Fire” was a smash hit around the world. Their music has also appeared in Sons of Anarchy, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries and countless other tv programmes, video games and movie soundtracks.

Their second studio album “Run” was released in March of this year with critics considering it a “highly accomplished album” and also saying “there’s very little else like it in the industry”.

Although it pains us to use social media as a base for quality of talent, in this day and age and the sheer power of the medium, its almost impossible (or stubborn) to deny its level of importance in modern culture.

To date AWOLNATION has more than 1 million followers on Facebook, arguably the most powerful form of social media at the present time, they also regularly interact with their fans on social media which helps create a connection with their huge worldwide fanbase

For your chance of a goodie bag plus two tickets to see the band perform in The Garage Glasgow simply tell us what movie soundtrack did AWOLNATION most recently appear on?
