You don’t have to be a wizard to enjoy this spectacle, muggles are welcome too… but it will make more sense if you’re a fan of Harry Potter.

The upcoming event has already had to add extra dates due to the demand for it’s Harry Potter festival.

The Purrple Cat Cafe, at Trongate, opened in December 2017 and is home to 29 cuddly kitties of various breed and age. You can visit the Purrple Cat Cafe outside of the event times for a set entry price, and if you’re yet to visit we suggested you book a visit to see what the fuss is about!

Out with standard bookings, the cat cafe hosts a wide range of events throughout the year, and this one seems to be a hit!

The first of the events was set to take place on Sunday, September 1st, the wizards among you will know that is the day new students make their way from Kings Cross station to Hogwarts, but due to the popularity of the event, the cafe has added August 31st to the calendar too.

The cafe will be wizard-themed with food, drinks, unique photo opportunities, magical decorations and more. If you’re lucky enough to get near the cat of the hour, you’ll also be able to meet the cafe’s very own, Harry the cat!
