Glasgow Canal Boat Gin Tasting Brunch Experience

Gin is probably Scotland’s most trendy spirit at the minute, with craft gin taking up more and more of our supermarket shelves each day.

With its popularity comes multiple events and tasting experience, but this one tops the lot!

Ocho Cafe, a licensed Brunch, Lunch and Cocktail venue at Spiers Wharf, offers traditional foods and drink at the highest of standard and perhaps a hidden gem for places to eat in Glasgow. We recommend grabbing their afternoon tea offer as gifts, the recipient will genuinely thank you.

The fine-dining eatery is now offering a unique gin experience like no other, The Gin Cruise and Brunch. What’s so different about gin and brunch on a boat? Well, this boat is the Navvie’s Barge, and the cruise will be going along the Forth and Clyde Canal (The Nolly, just to clear up that title confusion!).

Guests will be welcomed by a cocktail and brunch at the cute interior of Ocho Cafe before making their short walk to Applecross Basin for an hour’s cruise on the barge with five gin serves.

Ocho is hoping that people will discover another side to Glasgow, taking in the picturesque scenery and wildlife that the canals of Glasgow have to offer.

The voyage will set sail on September 8th with two trips. If you’re interested head over to their Facebook page and learn more about ticketing opportunities while they’re still available.
